Dr. Price-Haywood has distinguished herself with her achievements in health service delivery re-design. She is the Director for the Ochsner Health System Center for Outcomes and Health Services Research. In this role, she partners with system leadership to design, test and scale up clinically and cost effective interventions. Her work focuses on optimization of care teams and health information technology to deliver patient-centered, value-based care. In her medical directorships, she has implemented population health management for medical and mental/behavioral health conditions via data-driven, evidence-based, QI protocols. She is the Principal Investigator of an NIH R01 grant which employs behavioral health integration in primary care for collaborative care management of co-morbid depression/anxiety and chronic non-cancer pain. She is co-PI of a PCORI-funded Clinical Data Research Network as well as co-investigator on a number of federally funded pragmatic clinical studies.
