Toshi Uchida is the Director of Clinical Skills Education at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine where she is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine. At FSM Toshi collaborates with colleagues in overseeing the clinical skills curriculum throughout the first 2 years of medical school. Prior to moving to Northwestern in 2008, Toshi worked at the Stroger Hospital of Cook County and was the Co-Course Director for the Physical Diagnosis sequence at Rush Medical College. Toshi graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed a Primary Care residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is an active member of SGIM and the Midwest regional SGIM serving as a perennial reviewer and on a number of committees and task forces. Toshi loves the SGIM Annual Meeting which she has attended every single year since her junior year of residency.
