Birmingham Information

Welcome to Birmingham

For all its small-town charm, Birmingham has its own cosmopolitan personality. With a rich history of immigrants, Birmingham benefits from the gifts of many backgrounds. The influences are all around us and beautifully melded into the diversity of our Southern culture.

It’s hip without being pretentious … It’s tuned-in without being pushy ... It’s very cool without the exertion. And, with a comfortable climate nearly year-round, it’s a place that’s brimming with entertainment, the arts, nightlife, and outdoor recreation. It is the potpourri of experiences that is the city’s greatest strength and strongest appeal.
