20 years (1980-2000) in private general medical practice in rural Lebanon County, PA, with Family Physician partners, NP's, PA's. Teaching rural primary care as adjunct faculty for Hershey Family Medicine Dept.
2001-2007 Associate Professor of medicine and Pediatrics at UNC Chapel Hill, working at University owned clinic, teaching medical students and residents, providing patient care. Assistant Med-Peds Residency Director, UNC.
2007 to present - Associate Professor of Medicine (courtesy appt in Pediatrics) at Univesity of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and Hospitals and Clinics, delivering primary care to patients, teaching medical students and medicine residents. Coordinator of Internal Medicine Resident Primary Care Track.
