Hi Academic Hospitalists,
I will be running a Special Interest Forum "Hospital Medicine Disaster Preparedness and Management" at SHM Annual Meeting, National Harbor on Tuesday 3/26 at 5:30 -6:25 pm. Room Chesapeake 6.
The forum will explore the role of hospitalists and address the challenges of Hospital Medicine in disaster preparedness (MCIs, Medical/ infectious, etc.) and management at both local and national level. We look forward to building a coalition of individuals to help tackle and provide guidance on this important subject area. Attending the Forum will also provide you with the opportunity to:
- Shape the future of HM involvement in Disaster management
- Collaborate and network with colleagues around the country
