    Dear SGIM Colleagues,

    The Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) and the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) are proud to offer two tailored courses that equip academic hospitalists with the essential skills to thrive in their careers: Launching Your Career and Advancing Your Career. The program will take place in person from September 15 to 18, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA.

    AHA: Launching Your Career is ideal for those newer to academic hospital medicine or looking to build a stronger foundation in teaching, promotion, business drivers, and more.

    AHA: Advancing Your Career is a premier course designed for academic hospitalists with 4–8 years of experience who are ready to grow their leadership, teaching, and scholarly impact.

    Former SGIM President Dr. Jada Bussey-Jones, MD, MACP, will be the Plenary Speaker during the meeting. The Faculty and Course Directors are listed here.

    Group discounts are available, regardless of which course or course combination you are attending.
