Tell your story about how you got involved in GIM

For the past 18 months, an SGIM workgroup on strategic communications has been working to develop a campaign aimed at getting more medical students interested in entering the field of GIM. We'll be unveiling this new campaign, as well as a video and other materials, at the annual meeting in Toronto.

Are you enthusiastic about GIM? Do you have an interesting story to tell? Do you know well spoken students who are eager to reach out to their peers and bring them into our field or who are well-spoken and make a great case for their chosen career? We are looking for a few physicians and a few medical students/recent grads/early fellows to speak about their experiences in the field of GIM for a video that will be presented at a plenary session in Toronto. We would like to see GIM physicians in a variety of settings to make the point that GIM is a diverse and exciting field in which we are proud to be members.

Nominate yourself or another but do it soon - deadline to get involved is Friday, January 16th. Contact Francine Jetton, SGIM Communications Director, at
