Join The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and SGIM for an upcoming webinarthat will focus on PCORnet and will provide real-world examples of partnershipand meaningful research and engagement in PCOR within the general internal medicine community.

 

Presenters will provide an overview of PCORI and PCORnet, explain PCORnet infrastructure and howit can be utilized by researchers and clinician educators. This is an opportunity to learn how you can get involved in patient-centered research and our work here at PCORI.

Former president of SGIM, former editor of JGIM and longtime SGIM member Dr. William Tierney, an internationally recognized leader in medical informatics and health services research who has devoted his career to creating innovation, value and efficiency in health care delivery, will be the inaugural Chair of Population Health for the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.

 

Dr. Tierney comes to Austin from the Regenstrief Institute, one of the country's most respected research institutions dedicated to improving health and health systems, where he currently serves as president and CEO and where he has worked for more than three decades.
