ACLGIM Summit 2013: Building the GIM Enterprise

GIM leaders face an exciting yet challenging time in academic medicine with the implementation of the ACA, and its emphasis on primary care. Many institutions are seeking to expand both their primary care and hospital medicine practices. The ACLGIM Summit will present strategies developed by our colleagues from across the country which address the challenges of recruiting academic general internists, and creating sustainable jobs for both outpatient and hospitalist faculty. The Summit program will also present strategies for obtaining the funding for research and education that is necessary to build and sustain strong GIM programs.

Join your colleagues from around the country, December 8-10, 2013 at the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain outside of Phoenix, AZ and add to your toolkit of ways to support the business aspects of our research and education missions!

Block your calendar now! Take a couple of days in a warm, sunny place with a group of like-minded colleagues where you can catch your breath, focus on those big-picture issues, and enjoy an atmosphere of scholarship and intellectual camaraderie. Register today!
