SGIM is launching its fourth year of the "Investing in GIM" membership program in its effort to engage the next generation of academic GIM professionals. This program offers a one year complimentary membership to 30 first year GIM fellows. See additional details and requirements here.

Plan to join us in beautiful Hollywood, Florida for the 2016 SGIM Annual Meeting - May 11-14, 2016. With the theme this year being, Generalists Engaged in Population Health: Improving Outcomes and Equity through Research, Education and Patient Care, SGIM16 will focus on a range of topics such as the impact of care integration, health outcomes, and approaches to quality improvement.

 

 

Call for Submissions Coming November 17

 

The call for submissions for clinical vignettes, scientific abstracts, innovations in clinical practice and innovations in medical education will be mailed on November 17, and will be posted online atconnect.sgim.org/sgim16.

 

 

Volunteer for the Meeting

 

Looking for a way to become involved in SGIM? Volunteer to review submissions to the Annual meeting. Volunteering is easy and online - find the link at

http://www.sgim.org/communities/engage/volunteer-center. Identify your first, second and third choice from reviewing clinical vignettes, scientific abstracts, innovations in clinical practice or innovations in medical education. Review period January 18 - February 2.

ACLGIM Unified Leadership Training for Diversity (UNLTD)

December 4, 2015

 

Both LEAD and UNLTD are leadership development opportunities that include mentoring aspects within the program structure. If accepted, the UNLTD Program includes scholarship funds that would support costs associated with the LEAD program.
