SGIM Committees and Task Forces are Looking forNEW Members

Who Should Volunteer?

Anyone can volunteer at SGIM. It doesn't matter if you are a full professor, resident, researcher, or a student--you can make a difference within the Society. Additionally, we encourage SGIM members who have volunteered in the past to apply for current available positions.

Why Should I Volunteer?

  • To shape the future of your discipline as well as the work of the Society
  • To build strong relationships with your colleagues
  • To learn from experienced and diverse experts in your specialty and sub-specialty

How Much Commitment Will This Require?

Committee and task force members are asked to serve 3-year terms. Additionally, all committees and task forces have 1-hour, monthly conference calls.
