As many of you know, the US MEC (medical eligibility criteria) for contraceptive use was updated in 2016 by the CDC. In speaking with the CDC recently, seems as though there has been a slow adoption of these guidelines in primary care. I wanted to share the link to the website and remind you of a teaching slide-set that is provided by the CDC with contraceptive cases. You can also download a great MEC app for your phone.
