ABOUT SARET
The NIDA-funded Substance Abuse Research Education and Training (SARET) program fosters health professions students' lasting engagement in substance use disorder (SUD) research. SARET uses a modular web-based curriculum and mentored research placements to activate doctoral and masters level students’ interest in SUD-related research careers. An interdisciplinary initiative, SARET trains future physicians, nurses, dentists, social workers, and public health professionals.
