Dear Colleagues, I am really enjoying getting to know more people in the region as I work with our leadership team to develop our meeting agenda. Here are some exciting developments in the region. Preparations are well underway for our regional meeting on Friday, March 9th in Boston with the theme of "The Many Faces of Physician Advocacy: Internists Leading the Way for Change." The call for submissions is open and will remain open until November 16th . We welcome submissions from all trainees as well as faculty. Dear colleagues in the New England region, Greetings and I hope everyone is enjoying summer. At our national meeting, several members suggested a president’s blog to help build regional connections throughout the year.
