    Hello colleagues!

Long length of stay and high patient census continue to be big challenges for hospitals across the US. We are launching a research study to attempt to identify and measure this burden and are looking for potentially interested sites and site leads to participate in a single-day data collection project.

The time ask of this would be relatively short (a few hours on the selected study day, August 1, plus some preparatory time) and all training/materials will be provided. All engaged site leads will be recognized for their work on this project on any future findings. The focus of this work is on inpatient Medicine cases but site leads are not necessarily restricted only to inpatient providers - would be happy to discuss more with anyone interested and has access to an inpatient clinical site.

More details and a short interest survey is available here: https://redcap.link/dcstudyinterest

Any expression of interest is non-binding and more information will be available to those who express interest. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Thanks so much for your time,
