Welcome to SGIM Mentor Match! This program offers members of all career levels the chance to engage in one-on-one, in-person mentorship related to career growth and the practice of general internal medicine at the SGIM Annual Meeting.
The success of this program is due to the generosity of SGIM members willing to share time, insight, and experience with other SGIM members.
Here are the steps to successfully complete your Mentor enrollment:
- Make sure to complete your member profile (which is populated with some of your membership information) so that potential Mentees can learn more about you. Be sure to add a photo, include information in your bio and details of your job history.
- Make selections for each of the demographics below to set your preferences. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for Mentees to find their best Mentor match.
- Once your profile is saved, be sure to watch for emails indicating a mentee is interested in a match. You will need to respond to their request in order to match.
