How do I Register Online?

To register online and select sessions:

  1. Login to your SGIM Account
  2. Click on  Meetings from the left-hand menu
  3. Select  Register for this meeting for 2018 SGIM Annual Meeting
  4. Follow the steps to register and select sessions
  5. Review your registration
  6. Complete payment information
  7. Print a copy of your confirmation for your records

An email confirmation and pdf receipt is available 24 hours after payment.

You can modify your registration and session selections up until March 29, 2018.

  1. Login to www.sgim.org
  2. Select Meetings from the left-hand menu
  3. Click on View Your Registration for the 2018 SGIM Annual Meeting
  4. Click on the Add/Edit events button at the top to modify
  5. Click Continue to review modifications
  6. Click Continue Registration to review registration
  7. Click Submit Registration to finalize modifications

How do I Print a Registration Receipt?

Receipts are available 24 hours after payment.

  1. Login to  www.sgim.org
  2. Choose  Invoice History/Pay Invoice from the left-hand menu
  3. Click the  View All Invoices button at the top to populate invoices
  4. Click on the blue number of the invoice to generate a PDF receipt

How do I Register a Group?

SGIM Associate Members (medical students, residents, and fellows) from the same institution are eligible for discounted Annual Meeting registration fees for groups of 11 or more. To qualify for group discount, the group registration form with payment must arrive at the SGIM office by March 29, 2018. The institution must register and pay for all registrations along with a $25 paper registration processing fee in one instance. Group registration is available only to SGIM Associate Members.

How do I Register a Colleague?

  1. Request your colleague to register online and select sessions.
  2. Instruct your colleague to select the Check under the Payment Method drop-down menu and click Submit Payment.
  3. Pay by check or pay by credit card by phone afterward. Please reference registration confirmation number.  See payment options below for payment instructions.

How do I Update my SGIM Member Profile?

Update Your Member Profile to Register for the Annual Meeting
Profile information allows SGIM to understand the scope of the GIM field and those engaged in the profession. By providing current information, your participation enables SGIM to build programming and resources of interest to members. We appreciate your time and your help building the SGIM community!

To update your member profile, log into your SGIM Account and complete the following steps:

  1. Contact Information
  2. SGIM Additional Data
  3. Password (password update not required)
  4. Verification
  5. Confirmation
  6. Click Finalize Changes at the bottom of the page to complete your profile update.

  • Registration online closes March 29, 2018 with the close of the Late Registration Period. Register early and skip the line at the Annual Meeting!
  • Onsite Registration will continue onsite at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel beginning April 11, 2018 at the SGIM18 Registration Desk, Plaza Building, Concourse Level.

Registration Policy

SGIM requires all attendees, both those presenting and those not presenting at the meeting, to register and pay the registration fees set by the SGIM Council. There is no one day fee for the Annual Meeting.


Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Requests

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to SGIM and received by April 1, 2018. Any refunds, based on the refund schedule below, will be issued following SGIM18 by June 30, 2018. SGIM is not responsible for cancellations not received. Email registration@sgim.org with your registration confirmation number.


Cancellation Refund Schedule
February 15, 2018: Last day for full registration fee refund, less $75 cancellation fee.
February 16–March 8, 2018: Fifty percent registration fee refund.
March 9–March 29, 2018: Twenty-five percent registration fee refund.
After March 30, 2018: No refunds will be issued.
