Women's Caucus

It was great to see those that could make it and identify our mutual opportunities and shared ideas!

We also learned the underutilized concept of retention packages and how there is considerable inequity around who receives them; here is the article Dr. Rachel Hess referenced: https://www.insidehighered.com/news/faculty-issues/diversity-equity/2024/05/14/can-faculty-counteroffers-be-applied-more-equitably.

A few ideas surfaced for workshops as well - this is a great place to come together to create a team for both regional and national submissions! 

Feel free to post articles here relating to promotion, advancement, and mentorship/sponsorship for women! And if you know of leadership opportunities at your institutions, share them here!

Hello all!

Hopefully everyone has safely made it to Boston and is ready for a great meeting!  

Quick reminder that the women's caucus meeting is TOMORROW at 12:30.  

The plan is to update everyone on the work done over the past year as well as plan initiatives for next year!

If you can make it, please come with ideas and/or enthusiasm for continued efforts for advancement of women!
