I completed my residency and chief residency at RI Hospital/Brown U., and stayed there for another two years to complete a fellowship at Women & Infants Hospital of RI in Obstetric & Consultative Medicine.
Since 1998 I have co-organized the Obstetric Medicine Interest Group at SGIM, and been part of workshops regarding medical disorders in pregnancy, directing research for a residency program, and perioperative topics.
My research interest is improving postpartum testing rates for women with Gestational Diabetes. In my current role I mentor residents and facilitate design, completion, analysis, and authoring of research and quality improvement projects.

I'm from the Philly 'burbs, but will say that working in NJ does let me see some awesome sunrises over the ocean. I still play lacrosse, to the chagrin of my knees (and wife - but it's her fault. I need to run off all of the cookies that she bakes and forces me to eat), and tennis to the dismay of my shoulder.
