I am a general internist and clinician educator focused on the related topics of teaching learners how to critically appraise the medical literature and teaching general internists how to practice the most current, evidence-based medicine. Following medical school at Emory University, I matched into the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Chicago. I then completed a chief residency year at MacNeal Hospital and joined the faculty at the University of Chicago in the Section of General Internal Medicine in 2016. I currently serve as an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, am an editor on the upcoming edition of Symptom to Diagnosis, and am a past chair of the Evidence-Based Medicine Subcommittee at SGIM.
