Bio

Eric Woods, MD is an Assistant Professor in General Internal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He graduated from Cornell University and went on to receive his medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed his residency training in Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. 

In addition to seeing patients at Mount Sinai’s Internal Medicine Associates practice, he also sees patients at the Respectful and Equitable Access to Comprehensive Healthcare (REACH) program which provides a patient-centered, harm reduction approach to primary care for individuals who use alcohol and other drugs, and for individuals living with hepatitis C.  He is passionate about providing holistic, high-quality primary care to patients of all backgrounds. In addition to his clinic experience, Dr. Woods spends his time teaching the next generation of physicians at the medical student and resident level and leading a collaborative care behavioral health team.
