I am an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in the Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics, Grady Division. I serve as an assistant clinical director for the primary care clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. As a Clinician Educator, I oversee medical residents and medical students on the inpatient wards and a clinical preceptor for medical students and residents at the Grady Hospital Primary Care Clinic. My main interest include trauma informed care and it’s application in improving health access, health disparities and improving primary care for underserved populations , preserving the safety net for the underserved, and strengthening the field of primary care.
