I'm originally from Connecticut, attended medical school at UCONN and then ventured down south for my residency at Emory University. I am now an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory working with the housestaff at Grady Hospital. My areas of interest include hepatitis C and medical education. I work in the Grady liver clinic with a number of other general practitioners linking patients to care and treating underserved patients with hepatitis C. I am actively involved in hepatitis C research. In terms of medical education, I am interested in innovative approaches to resident education. I have become involved in developing a point of care ultrasound curriculum and am a Hartford Scholar looking at innovative ways to deliver common geriatrics topics to our residents, specifically in the area of falls.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, running, especially half marathons, playing tennis and really anything outdoors.
