David grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. A music-technology-turned-finance major with a pre-med concentration, David attended college at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He returned to Texas for medical school at UT Southwestern and an MBA at UT Dallas. After matching to Yale Med-Peds, David and his wife relocated to Connecticut, where they have failed at gardening but enjoyed other outlets such as kayaking, fishing, playing bass guitar, and trying new restaurants. David is now a General Internal Medicine - Medical Education Fellow. His clinical time is in the Yale Primary Care program, and his research interests include exploring ways to promote human flourishing among trainees and methods to cultivate humanistic care.
