I have been the medical director of our academic GIM practice at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Director. In addition, I am associate chief medical information officer at UPMC, with responsibilities for outpatient decision support and population management. Research interests include use of decision support and population management tools and their effectiveness, clinical practice QI.
