I run the home visiting program in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the Ohio State University. We provide home-based primary care to disabled, chronically ill adults in Franklin County. I teach and mentor medical students and residents, and conduct research in the area of disability and health service utilization.
In the past, I have served as the Medical Director of a free clinic serving immigrants from Central America and as Deputy Director of Primary Care and Planning for the District of Columbia Department of Health. I also ran a rural primary care practice in Berkshire County, Massachusetts.
I live with my wife and two children in the Clintonville neighborhood of Columbus. I enjoy bicycling, camping, jazz and poetry.
