I am a primary care and addiction physician at Boston Medical Center. Clinical interests include addressing disparities in addiction treatment access for people of color and those transitioning out of correctional settings. I am an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. I am clinician educator in the Internal Medicine Residency Program and in the medical school. I am PI on an Office of Minority Health/Health and Human Services Grant that utilizes peer support/recovery coaches to engage and retain Black and Latinx individuals with OUD in long term treatment and primary care after drug detoxification.
