Eva Aagaard, MD, FACP is a the Vice Chancellor and Senior Associate Dean for Education at Washington University School of Medicine. Her areas of interest include direct teaching, faculty development, curriculum development, assessment and medical education scholarship. She has developed and runs faculty development programs in education within departments, the Schools of Medicine, and the University of Zimbabwe College of Health Sciences. She has won multiple awards for clinical excellence, teaching, leadership, and humanism in medicine, including the University of Colorado’s President’s Teaching Award, the Society of General Internal Medicine Mid-Career Mentoring Award, and the Distinguished Faculty Award.
