2018 SGIM Annual Meeting

The 2018 SGIM Annual Meeting will encompass the breadth of General Internal Medicine, including health services research, medical education, advocacy, and exemplary clinical care. The theme of the 2018 meeting is Health IT: Empowering General Internists to Lead Digital Innovation. Health IT has become integral to every aspect of health care. Mobile technology, big data, and electronic health records are changing the way we deliver education, conduct research, and care for patients. This meeting will be an opportunity for the GIM community to discuss digital innovations and how they can enhance our work, whether in the hospital, the clinic, the classroom, or the laboratory. This meeting is jointly sponsored by University of Alabama  School of Medicine Division of Continuing Medical Education.
