Special Symposia

Special Symposia

The 2023 SGIM Annual Meeting "The Promise of Tomorrow." We will use our meeting to reflect on the fundamental changes that we have experienced over the past few years. We have, and are, navigating changes in how in our we prepare our trainees, in how we care for our patients, and in how we gather, translate, and implement the evidence that informs our patient care and education. Our plenaries, symposia, workshops, and presentations will highlight where we are and where we need to go. We will explore how general internists can take a leadership role in innovation in research, education, and clinical practice and in so doing advance policies aimed at improving the health of our patients and communities.  We invite you to join us to craft a vision of the future in a world that has dramatically altered over the course of a few years. The opportunities ahead of us are vast, and we will use our meeting to explore how we can be change agents who meet the promise of tomorrow.
